Rural fire departments without access to city water rely on Fire Cisterns/Dry hydrants for implementing fire protection infrastructure. These systems require active level monitoring, maintenance, and fill checks to remain a dependable asset. Our system turns monitoring into an automated process, ensures the reliability of the source through alerts when problems arise, and enables collaboration across departments to unify water supply data.
By employing energy-efficient MCU architectures combined with long-range sub-GHz wireless transmitters (such as LoRa) and cellular modems, the device monitors water levels and system battery levels. This project is currently in the prototyping phase and represents a key step toward launching our own commercial hardware product and solutions plan.
